The liberty line of native ropes:
Myrthe BlomShare
At Nativeropes, we believe that true connection with your horse starts with simplicity. Fewer tools, more feeling. And that's precisely why we're so proud of our Liberty Line – a line specifically designed for remote work, in freedom, and with maximum cooperation between you and your horse.

What is a Liberty Line?
A liberty line (also called a freedom line) is a longer, lightweight line used in liberty dressage, groundwork, or liberty training. Unlike a lead rope or lunge line, a liberty line is designed to transmit subtle signals without unnecessary pressure. Think of dancing with your horse at a distance, with a lead that feels more like an extension of your intention than a tool.
Why the Nativeropes Liberty Line?
Our Liberty Lines are handmade from high-quality materials that make all the difference in your workout. What makes them so special:
- Lightweight and flexible , allowing your natural movements to be transferred with ease
- Strong and durable – made of high-quality PPM rope (Polypropylene Multifilament), water-repellent and colourfast
- Available in multiple lengths (6m, 8m, 10m and 12m) – for every purpose and training style
- Stylish and functional , with beautiful finishes and a choice of unique color combinations

What can you do with it?
Whether you're just starting out with Liberty work or are more advanced, the Liberty Line is a versatile tool. Use it for:
- Distance liberty dressage
- Groundwork where you want to give your horse space to move
- Connection exercises, such as following, turning, standing still at a distance
